Walter Momanyi

Founder of ModelRefs, accountable for the evidence a record must carry before it is allowed to publish, and for the frameworks the editorial review stage applies.

Overview

Walter Momanyi is the founder of ModelRefs and holds accountability for its evidence layer: what sourcing a model, provider or benchmark record must carry before it may publish, which scoring and comparison frameworks the review stage applies, and when a reference is complete enough to be listed at all.

Use this page to see which decisions the founder role covers as distinct from editorial review, what the role does not claim, and how to raise an issue with any reference through the contact page under the published Editorial Policy.

Walter is also the founder and CEO of Doc Care Health, a Kenyan digital health platform that connects patients with healthcare providers and gives clinics software to manage care. He has worked in digital health software since 2017, including as Senior Product Manager at Healthtuition, a consumer health publication reaching over 100,000 monthly readers, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

ModelRefs is a commercial product and its founder has an interest in these pages being read. The constraint on that interest is mechanical rather than personal: a record short of its stated sourcing, scope, or freshness requirements is refused by automated checks before it can reach the site.
